This project has 18 identified beneficiaries (mainly SEBs in the states of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttaranchal and the city of Delhi), who would be directly benefitted by this project. They would pay transmission tariff to Sterlite for a period of 25 years. Sterlite Grid is also the first private player which has been selected to build India’s first two 765 kV projects.
